Kayb has been drawing, sewing, dreaming, building, and arranging since childhood. Her curiosity about the world has taken her to various media and across many continents. As a third generation artist she has an innate love of the beautiful and a keen sense of craft. As a fourth generation international traveler she is an adventuress ever curious about new people and places. She grew up in a rural community in the mountains of Oregon which developed her commitment to place and community. Reflective by nature her work is inspired by her experience of life and her maker. She is has been a commissioned sculptor for over 15 years and is an associate professor of Art at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. She resides in Chattanooga with her husband Will and son Quinn.
